Following the success of the inaugural Earth Fest in 2009, Wellington Sustainability Group (WSG) Inc and Stratford Primary School are once again teaming-up for a fantastic event that promotes sustainable living practices in all aspects of our lives: gardening, gastronomical delights, discussion forums, products, community services, entertainment and great activities for the children.

Friday 15th October - day time
Stratford Primary School will host a schools day which will include cooking lessons, garden and composting demonstrations, the CFA smokehouse and trials of their Human Powered Vehicles

Friday 15th October - evening
Official Earth Fest opening at Stratford Courthouse Theatre. Drinks, nibbles and opening words from event Patron, Tim Lee (refer to separate post introducing Tim as our Event Patron). This will be followed by a film screening (The Yes Men Fix The World ).

Saturday 16th October - all day
Showcase Market day at Stratford Primary School: stalls, workshops, information, music, food, innovations, children's activities and so much more.

Along with building community, being homemade and homegrown, the key principles of sustainable practices will be upheld in the registration of Participants:
